Investing in the communities we call home

Working directly with the community is an integral part of IOC’s culture. We have been partnering with the communities in Labrador West and Sept-Îles for more than five decades and we hope to be around for that many more. In 2011, IOC opened a new office in St John’s to strengthen its relations with the Newfoundland and Labrador government.

IOC Communities and Social Performance (CSP) Commitments

We strongly believe that focusing IOC’s efforts around improving economic outcomes locally and management of complaints and incidents, will help secure our business now and into the future.

IOC is committed to making efforts, year over year, to increase the number of employees of historically underrepresented groups (females, visible minorities, Indigenous and persons with disabilities) in the total workforce.  IOC also commits to making efforts to increase local and Indigenous spend in each of the provinces where we operate.
